1000 years

Rev 20:4

And I saw thrones and they sat upon them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of the testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

One thousand years, Father, to us on earth is quite a long time. I’ve read this before and really had not stopped to think about how long a time that is.
That is a lot of generations. The dictionary says that a generation is “the average span of time between the birth of parents and that of their offspring. “
That certainly can vary in different cultures. In the culture of America, at least in the past, that would be about 20 years; 5 generations in a 100 years. That means 50 generations would be in the millennium.
Actually, there are many cultures in the world where teens and even adolescents have children. If the average age is less, that means there would be more generations within 1000 years.

I remember your promise that “the descendants of the righteous will be delivered” in Proverb 11:21. It makes me very confident to pray for the future of our children’s children and our descendants; for you will deliver them, free them, and provide escape for them from the trappings of this world. I pray that our family line going forward will be a blessing to Our Most High God and King of Glory!

Satan is bound during the 1000 years but released at the end of the time to deceive the nations and lead them to war with God. Rev 4:8 says the number of them is “like the sand of the seashore”. That is an incredible amount of people to really realize the immensity of power coming against the Lord! But what always amazes me is that there is only one scripture that tells of the Lord’s victory over the millions that are coming to war with Him.
:9 “And they came up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, and fire came down from heaven and devoured them. “
That’s it! No description of the battle, the fight, etc. God zapped them and that was it!

This gives my heart deeper confidence in You, my faithful God. The struggles and problems in this earthly life are not too big (or small) for you to uphold us, deliver us, sustain us, and give us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
You are a Mighty God!

Ps 72:18 Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel,
              Who alone works wonders.

Jesus is Victorious!

Revelation 13
What stands out today Father is the intensity of hatred the devil has against you and your children.
: 17 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the saints-those who obey God’s commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus.
13:1… He had ten horns, and on each head a blasphemous name
:5 the beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies..
: 6 He opened his mouth to blaspheme God and to slander His name and His dwelling place and those who live in heaven.

The devil was speaking evil even against heaven, where God dwells. And since the Word also says “those who live in heaven”, perhaps he is still enraged because he had lost the battle for the souls of many that he had fought so hard for. Perhaps he is furious that You extend grace to some even in the last moments of their life.

Truly he hates the fact that there are “myriads and myriads” in heaven that worship You, our Mighty God:
Rev 5:11 And I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and the number of them was myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands.

Seeing this only makes me to know even more how powerful and victorious my Savior, our Lord Jesus is!
Rev 5:12 “Worthy is the Lamb that was slain
To receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing.

: 13 And EVERY (I’m sure this really makes the enemy mad!) created thing which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and the sea, and all things in them, I heard saying,
To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb
Be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever.”

Yes, Jesus has already won the war, it is finished, and “I am “raised up with Him and seated with Him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus.” Eph 2:6 What a glorious Savior we have!

Eph 1:22 And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church.
We need never to fear the devil; we need only (Hebrews 12:2) to keep “our eyes on Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith”….Jesus is Lord!

I am so grateful to You Father for having the privilege of being Your child!

The Wonder of His Blood

...dressed in white
....they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
I love this Father. …they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb….
Thank you Father for the blood of Your Son! We have been made clean, pure, spotless, blameless, shameless, and holy before You, the Eternal God.

This is truly an amazing truth that transforms our heart daily as we think about it and allow that blood that was shed to be real to us as we go through our day. To remember that You have already washed us clean….we need not forget that even for a moment. How else can we walk in the joy that You alone can give us?

1 John 1:5
and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood -
How are we released?...by His blood....sin does not have to have a hold on us and enslave us.  It is finished.

Is 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together," Says the LORD, "Though your sins are as scarlet, They will be as white as snow ; Though they are red like crimson, They will be like wool.

John 13:8-14 Peter said to Him, "Never shall You wash my feet !" Jesus answered him, "If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me." 9 Simon Peter said to Him, "Lord, then wash not only my feet, but also my hands and my head." 10 Jesus said to him, "He who has bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean ; and you are clean, but not all of you." 11 For He knew the one who was betraying Him; for this reason He said, "Not all of you are clean." 12 So when He had washed their feet, and taken His garments and reclined at the table again, He said to them, "Do you know what I have done to you? 13 "You call Me Teacher and Lord ; and you are right, for so I am. 14 "If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.

1 Cor 6:11
Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

Eph 5:26 having cleansed her (the church) by the washing of water with the word

:27 that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing ; but that she would be holy and blameless

Hebrews 9:14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through at he eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God ?

1 John 1:7 7 but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Rev 5:9
9 And they sang a new song, saying, "Worthy are You to take the book and to break its seals ; for You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation.

Rev 12:11
"And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.

Hebrews 13:12 Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people through His own blood, suffered outside the gate.

1 Peter 1:18
18 knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers
:19 but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.

This is a wonderful marvelous, truth;  that this cleansing and freedom is available to all that receive Jesus as Savior and Lord.
Thank You Father for the blood of Your Holy Son, Jesus.
